# Referral Program

Know someone with a good roof in an eligible hex? FliteGrid pays **$50** for every new deployer you refer.

## How It Works

1. **Get a referral code.** Email <support@flitegrid.io> to sign up for the program and receive your code.
2. **Share it.** Your referral enters the code when they claim their hex.
3. **Get paid.** Once your referred deployer completes their first full paid month of operation (sensor deployed, online, and paid for a complete calendar month), your $50 referral payment is sent to the wallet on your account.

## The Details

**Anyone can refer.** You don't need to be a deployer yourself to earn referral payments, though deployers tend to make the best advocates since they can show the setup working.

**One payment per referred deployer.** If your referral claims multiple hexes, the referral payment is tied to the deployer, not the number of sensors.

**Payment follows performance.** The referral pays out after your referral's first complete paid month, not at claim time. This keeps the program pointed at real deployments rather than claim-and-abandon signups.

**Same payment setup as deployers.** Referral payments are made in USDC and are taxable income, so a wallet address and W-9 are required before payout.

The network grows one rooftop at a time, and most of the best rooftops are found through people who know the area. If you've got reach into a community near an airport, a stadium, a university, or any other stretch of eligible airspace, this is the easiest money in the program.
